Poj Kanjanahattakij was born in Thailand and bred in the United Kingdom, where he pursued his studies in Product Design and Visual Communication. While in his Creative Director days, this self-taught photographer developed a deep-seated adoration for capturing moments. Now well recognised across the industry as “Poj of Sixtysix Visual”, the portrait, wedding, travel and lifestyle photographer has established a distinct style — a style wherein surges of emotions are vividly expressed through natural lights and shadows.
Visual Diary takes you on a journey across the world, putting on display a documentation of the photographer’s past couple of years as one of Leica Thailand’s ambassadors. Exhibited are places, people and moments in time that are important to him. Here, unravel hidden meanings behind symmetrical shapes and forms, a well-established signature that is at once simple yet captivating to beholders.
Poj artistically blurs the line between beautiful and successful photographs. He is a firm believer that it is crucial to feed one’s own passions and fuel the love one has in whatever he or she does. Commit to a diary — in your own time, in your own space, when you feel the most at ease. These snapshots are captured beyond his working hours, on his holidays when he gets to loosen up and take on photography as a leisure pursuit. These snapshots are much like a personal time machine, a visual diary that encapsulates the split seconds of some of his fondest memories in one expanse. What’s yours?
